Neck Lift is similar to a Face Lift and the two are often done together. A small incision is made in the hairline, behind the ear this time, and the sagging skin is lifted and pulled to position it correctly. If you have excess fat, what is called a double chin, this is removed using liposuction. If the sagging skin is making your neck muscles more prominently visible, they are then injected with Botox to make them relax. A Neck Lift, by itself, can be done under local anaesthesia with sedation, as a day care procedure. You can go home the same day and will be provided with a chin strap that you will need to wear worn for 5 days.
