Blepharoplasty / Eyelid Surgery
The first signs of aging usually appear around the eyes. The skin becomes a little looser and makes the eyes look droopy and tired. Dark circles under the eye are another common problem. However all these can be corrected fairly easily.
DARK CIRCLES
These can be resolved using a combination of Laser skin procedures, chemical peels and fillers (hyaluronic acid fillers) under the eye.
Essentially, a multi-dimensional approach is necessary. Chemical peels to remove superficial skin blemishes, Skin Lasers to lighten dark circles, and Hyaluronic acid fillers, fat grafting and eyelid procedures to tighten the loose skin will give the best result
LOWER EYELID
The excess skin and pockets from around the eye are removed and the eyelid is tightened upwards to a more youthful position.
In both procedures, excess fat bags, if any, can be removed, or fat added to fill up any hollowness. Both can be done under local anesthesia
UPPER EYELID
The overhanging, droopy skin above the upper lid is removed to make it tighter and more defined.
